Automotive Stimulus Plan would give a TAX break to consumers buying a passenger vehicle (car, truck, SUV) between November 12th and December 31st of 2009

Republican John McCain said Sunday that cutting taxes and stimulating the economy are more important than balancing the budget, and accused both Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama of supporting tax hikes that would worsen the impact of a recession.

State and local taxpayers are in trouble. Over the years, state and local governments have promised, but not paid for, roughly $1.5 trillion dollars in retiree health care and other non-pension post-employment benefits--and the bill is coming due as millions of baby boomers begin to retire.

Uncle Sam tries to screw you all year long. But tax deductions are your chance to get him back! The more deductions you can claim, the more cash you get back. And who doesn’t like getting a fat tax refund?!
