The four-month long festival, which features 80 works of art created by over 70 highly talented sculptors from countries around the world, such as the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Ireland, the United States and Thailand, covers an area of 12 rai (1.92 hectares or 4.74 acres).

Isn’t this robot simply awesome? It is a beer pouring robot, maybe too geeky for a geeky gadget lowers. Does it remind you on the famous R2D2 robot from the famous Star Wars movie? This is a six-and-a-half-ton sculpture of the Ford Focus Coupé-Cabriolet – made entirely of ice. It was crafted two weeks in a giant freezer with special tools from Japan and North America. Creators of this Ford Focus car had a hard job, but they finished it successfully and it is nice to look in something like this one.

I like to watch a science-fiction movies but I can’t say I’m a die-hard fan of Alien. To tell you the truth, those aliens scare the hell out of me, always have and I’m pretty sure they always will. Nice sculptures made with toothpicks. Those which you are going to see on pictures are made by Steven Backman. For some of those sculptures really needed some time. For the example, for this wooden boat it was needed about 6000 toothpicks, but for the beautiful, amazing, cool, remarkable golden gate bridge it was used 30000 toothpicks and took more then a two years for construction. But it was worth of it, don’t you think so? There are also a few more cool and interesting sculptures.
